ShebbySB Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 World take notice we got 3 guys who can hit 150+ in test cricket We've got Ishant,Umesh & Aaron now with seriously quick pace.They all have hit the 150 mark for several occasions.All these guys are very young too so if they can mature a bit then we could've the best bowling attack in the world with these 3 bowlers bowlinh in tandem.Don't forget we've got a fantastic spinner in Ashwin to support them.:dance::two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up:

These speed guns have an inherent zero error, and are also prone to human error (marking the point of ball release etc.), so you are bound to have a few outliers that would skew the data. 1. You got it wrong there. I clearly checked on sky sports channel. They showed Siddle highest was 150.1 only. So, going by that, my formula is still working. 2. I know errors are bound to happen on technology's part but we are only taking the data that we have in our hands, into consideration. 3. Most importantly, forget Umesh, Forget Siddle. Today Ishant bowled 152.2 and touched 150 4-5 times. I am just happy, our working horse(Ishant) has turned into a racing horse now. :yay:

express bowling Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Ishant's fastest was 152.2kph & he bowled 15-16 deliveries clicking 150 today. His average speed was 146.8kph Umesh's fastest was 150.1kph in the 1st innings but his fastest in the 2nd innings was 148.5kph & was around 143-146kph consistently.He could've easily bowl faster but cut down his pace a bit to swing the ball which he succeded & took 4 wkts. An experienced left arm swing bowler who bowls cleverly and can take wickets. A skiddy genuine quick bowler who can swing at pace and gets seam movement too. He has a knack of picking wickets. A tall fast bowler who seams the ball and gets extra bounce and can soften the batsmen. A spinner who can tuen the ball both ways and gets bounce and zip off the pitch. Can turn the ball outside the subcontinent too and picks up lots of wickets. A backup genuine quick who is skiddy and is trying to bowl accurately.

Anyways i dint want to write in this thread because it's already annoying having thousands of threads on Fast bowling, so dont reply back pls.
