We need him to bolw well in every match and also score some runs like he did in INdia. Not everytime our young and old seamers going to take wickets. Someone would need to do Kumble or more and we need to bank on Ashwin. I have already become a big fan of him. I think he is going to bring some smile to all Indian fans on this tour. As I type, what a shot.. Hopefully he will take a fiver on aussie soil in 2nd innings.

Much better second spell where he should have got Hussey
DomainK Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I am a big fan. He is good. He is a thinking bowler. He has his weaknesses, but he is young and has plenty of time to work on them. Just when it looked like we had no more good options in spin, in walked Ashwin. I am still so eager to see a god leggie for India.
MCcricket Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Ashwin improved as he bowled, he should bat ahead of Dhoni in test's, also he should get good support from fielders and field setting for him by Dhoni was bad,he can bowl better, he himself admitted that, he and Umesh are the standouts, also very impressed by Zak, the sheer control , mastery of his art, Ishant for his heart and good spell.
