MCcricket Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Both Pankaj Singh and Aniket look better this season and bowling with more aggression and pace,Pankaj Singh should be knocking on selectors doors soon, he just needs to bowl in the 135 to 140 range and has the quality to succeed at higher level, bowls with control, has ability to plan batsmen out and is a workhorse, better option then PK, VK, Mithun.
daryl1985 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 hope he is back up for zack he bowled so many beauties... Could he be a good bowler for India? I have not seen too much of him.
Old guy Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Could he be a good bowler for India? I have not seen too much of him. yes after this last game im sure he can be very good option he is tall swings bowl both ways hits the deck got bounce and has awesome record many 5 wicket hauls...gotta give credit to bowling coach:hatsoff: like rkt said he should be ahead of ishant now btw saw him even in ipl was not 100 percent but got good out swing with new ball got thrashed few times though but thts diff format he bowled with control here.. might get 10 wickets
Old guy Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 www.espncricinfo.com/indian-domestic-2012/engine/current/match/574022.html see score 13 overs 15 runs 3 wickets he even got tiwary ishant gives so many lose ballls even on helpful tracks he cant dream of spell like this lol also he might not be as good as bowler as some english reserves are but in australia our back up quick was mithun lol and vinay played in perth ,shami ahmed is injured can use one moreyear in ranji this guy has good record
ShebbySB Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Pankaj was bowling in the 135-137kph range yesterday & be bowled some real jaffers.Wish if he had even Dinda's pace with his height & bowling skill he would've been quite handy for us.

Old guy Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 this is from op Pankaj's problems, on the other hand, were medical. Pringle has told him to sit out the domestic 50-over tournament that starts in February to let his knees heal. "He can only get better from where he is now," Pringle said. "He has to follow the programmes, the eating habits and he will definitely get better. Once he follows the programme and takes a break to sort his knees I am confident Pankaj can easily add another 20-25 kph to his speed." seriously if very team had coach like this we will dominate cricket for ages

He's also a workhorse & played quite a lot of FC cricket, has taken 226 wickets in 61 matches at an avg of 26.He's in good form so has an outside chance to break into the test squad as Zaheer is not fully fit like ever.
ShebbySB Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 this is from op seriously if very team had coach like this we will dominate cricket for ages Don't know abt gaining 20-25ks but he has already gained 10 ks of pace. Now we've to see if he's consistent with that.

Dinda is not much quicker. Pankaj can sustain the pace. Dinda cant. Dinda was bowling in the same bracket with same max pace of 141.

ShebbySB Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Dinda is not much quicker. Pankaj can sustain the pace. Dinda cant. Dinda was bowling in the same bracket with same max pace of 141. What was Pankaj's fastest ball?
ShebbySB Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I'm glad that Pringle will also work with Deepak Chahar who is very young.
rkt.india Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 What was Pankaj's fastest ball? 141 same as Dinda.
ShebbySB Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 141 same as Dinda. They're pretty same apart from Pankaj is a foot taller & has taken 8 more wkts than Dinda in the match:giggle:

rkt.india Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 They're pretty same apart from Pankaj is a foot taller & has taken 8 more wkts than Dinda in the match:giggle: That is why Pankaj is a better option than Dinda. The thing that troubles the batsmen most is extra bounce than pace.
