vvvslaxman
Hardly has anything gone right since he took over. FIrst a mess up of easy run chase in Windies. Then white wash in England. Now another whitewash looming. India consistently struggles to go past 300. Batting has never been this bad in the last 30 years or so. What the hell is he doing? Link to comment

Needforspeed
Gary Kirsten suggested his name. Maybe it was his way of getting back at the BCCI for all they did to him (whatever it was) :--D Link to comment
sm332
I think you will see Duncan being asked to leave, post WC has been uniformly bad for test side. We need to change something up and coach may not be a bad place to start. Link to comment
achilles
It is not the fault of the coach. Did he bat, ball, field in the game? No. The captain is responsible for the team on the pitch. The coach can only do so much. If the players go out there and underperform how is it the fault of the coach? Link to comment

Let us just have a manager (like in the old days) and save some money. Anyway Fletcher has to go. Isn't this (6 consecutive defeats) as bad as the WC 2007 performance. In the past, captains and coaches have been fired for less. Link to comment
ganeshran
He has lost his last 11 matches on the trot against the top 5 test playing nations. Link to comment

Needforspeed
Okay. But why only the coach? Agreed. Not just the coach. We need to go for the kind of changes the Aussies went for after the Ashes. Link to comment
Sachin=GOD
Okay. But why only the coach? because we know that the WC winning Captain won't be fired and the selection committee certainly won't be sacked. Link to comment

How about offering the captaincy in other formats to Virat Kohli, a la Graeme Smith? because we know that the WC winning Captain won't be fired and the selection committee certainly won't be sacked. Soft target is the coach. India is a country with ZERO accountability. No one in power admits his mistake. Link to comment
