Indian hockey these days is all flash' date=' and no basics. Excellent advanced dribbling skills, but basic foundational skills like passing and trapping are lacking. I guess they consider practicing basic skills beneath them ?[/quote'] The trapping is just pathetic and it seems the team has not practiced enough because the players don't have a mental picture of where the other players might be to make the pass.
