bulbul Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Then nobody can help him..Even relocating to Mumbai will not help. He needs to relocate to either Chennai or Bangaluru.. Relocating to Mumbai will help...he can become captain of MI after Bhajji retires :winky:
asterix Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Relocating to Mumbai will help...he can become captain of MI after Bhajji retires :winky: That'll not help us in Test cricket as that'll allow bowlers worse than Woman fast bowlers getting selected in Test team and playing matches.. I would rather prefer Jhulan Goswami playing test cricket in place of that gay fecker Winnie Koooomaaar.. :winky:
adi B Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Parthiv is one of the best players of the square bat shots i.e. Hooks and cuts. We have seen on numerous occasions players trying to play with a straight bat and edging to slip when a horizontal bat shot would have been much wiser. He should have been in the tests squad as reserve opener/keeper in my opinion. exactly my thoughts, he is a unique kind of player compared to the other indian batsmen who struggle against the bounce, whereas parthiv, like other non subcontinental players, likes to cut, pull, flick, drive with the bounce .....he will do well in bouncy pitches, but yeah he aint consistent enough

chainsmoker1985 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 can someone tell me the logic of having same team for both ODIs and T20s. When BCCI has so much money, why don't they put it up their asss. The team that they have sent for limited over matches is just a shyt T20 team. That too when we are going 2 play 2 T20 games not one-odd match. Fecking Basstards

CSK Fan Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 100 antarrashtriya shatak banane hain - test mein to mushkil lag raha hai ODI mein hi bana lo. I really used to respect you as a poster(still do). But lately, just for the sake of posting things against Sachin, you are slowley becoming a low level troll
rajmarie Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 & why is Zak still playing ODI??? Maybe fine for IPL.
Texan Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 What is the point of taking a 17-man team? Many times in the past we have seen that India keeps persisting with a losing team no matter how badly they are playing. They take a 17-man team on tour, but the reserves only get a game when someone from the main 11 gets injured or in the next test serving a ban. We have so far in the 3 tests used only 12 players. Despite the ridiculously poor performances, no changes have been made. So, my question is - are the reserve players just tourists or hired to carry drinks?? Shouldn't the philosophy behind team selection be to play your best 11 and not just keep pleasing all your senior players?? Are the others just filling in the numbers as injury protection?? Any other team, I'm sure would have made changes. But, I don't expect this Indian team which gives permanent reservation of spots to seniors to make any despite heavy defeats and utter incompetence.
Texan Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Obviously, the selection committee has learned nothing. There is a World Cup to be played in Australia in 3 years and this is probably our last tour to Australia before that. It was the perfect opportunity for someone like Rahane to get a hang of these conditions. Will Tendulkar be there 3 years later? Even if he is, will he learn anything from a long term perspective to perform in the World Cup? Will Sehwag be there in 3 years time? 3 years later when Rahane is thrown into the deep end in a crucial World Cup match on a bouncy Perth wicket, what will his chances be of performing? One would have thought a 0-7 scoreline will knock some sense into the selectors, but absolutely nothing. +1
Old guy Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 everything is wrong with this team i think if no one retires soon i will stop supporting cos i can take the defeats they happen but a system which is not even trying to improve and giving chance to players like patel again n again i cant support it
ShebbySB Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 dhoni manoj tiwari sehwag sachin raina gambhir kohli jadeja parthiv zaheer umesh rohit pk vinnny koooooomar irfan rahul sharma ashwin Yuvi, Ishant, bhajji, varun not fit. Ishant is not in the scheme of things for ODI or T20 cricket,he's fit not injured.
ShebbySB Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 just one specialist spinner in team...should have taken ojha instead of komaar There is Rahul Sharma the leggie.

But lately' date=' just for the sake of posting things against Sachin, you are slowley becoming a low level troll[/quote'] Oh yeah, I am trolling? What is the point of Tendulkar playing the CB series ahead of Rahane? Will he be there 3 years later when the World Cup is played on these pitches? Even if he is there, would the current series prepare him in any way for that challenge? Will Rahane be there 3 years later when the World Cup is played on these tracks? Can this series serve as a growing platform for Rahane?

Needforspeed Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 i agree with wht u saying but i think we tour australia once more before world cup..not sure though Yeah we do. In fact the next tour of Australia is immediatly followed by the World Cup.
