I am just pointing out the fickleness.This is the same Gambhir who batted nearly 5 sessions to save a test in Napier and scored a magnificent 97 under immense pressure to win us a world cup final.Did u question his commitment during these times? They went out for sight seeing during these tours and tournaments too.Why didnt u question their commitment then? Just because they are struggling for form doesnt mean they dont have commitment.The problem is commitment unlike form or fitness is an intangible quality.So some fans use results as a base to question the commitment of players about which they have no clue frankly.This is just fickleness nothing else.

This team lacked discipline as was said by Aajtak correspondent. They cannot come to the practice on time any given day. See, if practice time is 10, they come by 11, and then they drool, sit in the shades and take their own time to start practice. They are a lazy bunch of cricketers, most of them. They sleep late and then wake up late in the morning, how will their body be ready to play on a match day if they are not used to waking up early w hen the match is starting at 10. They wake up late and by the time their bodies are completely awake and warmed, we see 4 wickets down in one session. They are a lazy bunch of cricketers. These things matter a lot. Even today, juniors came early today with Dravid, and seniors had to come by 11, but no they were late today too.

This is why i love Dravid.

Also Sachin is famous for the amount of hard work he puts in. Never can question the committment of these two guys. Committment is not about results. Its about attitude and the body language on the field. It is about chasing balls and diving around even when the opposition is 600/4. As per press reports Ishant Sharma hardly bowls 2/3 overs in the nets and then takes long breaks. I dont know if the reports are true or not. If it is, I would call that a lack of committment.

Honestly I don't care about what these rascals say in interviews.... I just want some concrete steps to be taken by our gutless, spineless, faceless board and selection committee..... these guys are just a product of our pathetic bureaucratic board and like to sit on past laurels rather than going from strength to strength.

Agree about Sachin. I don't think any other cricketers can ever surpass those two as my favourites. To be fair to Ishant, i have seen a number of people praise him for his work ethic. I think he has more of a problem with the length he bowls and the fact that he does not have a good bowling brain.
