The shorter pitch idea is a good one. Having said that, that might really mess up their practice which usually involves playing district/club level cricket alongside men with a different pitch length. Smaller adjustment for batters than bowlers I suppose. Yeh she is quite slow these days but I think she still holds the alltime record. There are many bowlers who can bowl faster than her these days (Perry, Katherine Brunt, cant remember the name but she plays for NZ, etc) but I'm not sure whether that alltime record is broken or not.
