Lord Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I see the seniors have held this Indian team hostage. They're displaying a very selfish attitude of not giving promising talents a chance. I read sometime back Nasser Hussain announced his retirement in the middle of a tour just to give Strauss (who was making his debut) a chance to cement his place in the team.:hatsoff: The Indian trio could take a leaf out of his book. was a home series that for Nasser:P
India-KXIP fan Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 This is stupid. Look towards the future, there is none in the fab 3. Rohit should have played. So depressing todays performance, I cant bear to watch another defeat will pretend cricket is not on.
cowboysfan Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 The senior batsmen have now become a noose for our team, they need to be dropped if they dont retire after the series.
Zelch Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 People dont lose hope because this is India. There will be birth pangs in this evolution from old to new generation. Seniors will kick around and resist the inevitable after all they carry the legacy of Indian Cricketers of past. For those who remember, the previous generation cricketers in 80's early 90's used to hang around the team for a full season without performing and nobody could do anything. Atleast the present team has gone through this for ONLY two full series and I expect changes by the time India plays its next test series.
yoda Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Well most of you feckers were jumping up and down when many of us wanted the likes of Dravid and VVS and yes even SRT to retire BEFORE they started making a fool of themselves. Now enjoy the fruits of your star obsession!
King Tendulkar Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 Look at Kohli Gave him a good run and now results. Massive opportunity missed in not given Rohit last 2 games, which would have been massive investment for the future
