If Rohit Sharma does not play in Adelaide..

...then its the biggest selection disgrace ever! It then becomes the other extreme from knee jerk reaction!! A team that has flopped in batting for 7 away tests in a row(14 innings). If they do not pick the hottest young talent in world cricket for batting. And stick to the status quo and do not show the balls to drop an old timer, then its the biggest disgrace ever!!

Bloody hell what do our batsman need to do to get at least 1 dropped!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rohit is class and young. Not only does Laxman and Dravid need to be axed for ever cos of age and form. But last test will give much needed experience for a young talent. Instead will be wasting game to blood future legend and give experience, just to maintain pathetic status quo.

Well Laxman is defiantly not getting dropped, because he has been doing voluntary practice with Fletcher and working overtime with the video analysts. Maybe Dravid will be but I can't see it happening. Rohit will play his first test vs England in Nov it looks like.

Lol Sehwag has come out of support for every senior player in the recent past. He supported Laxman during his mini bad-patch. He has supported Tendulkar, Gambhir, Dravid all of them. I don't think he will drop any batsman. Only change would be perhaps Saha for Dhoni. and he will make some changes in bowling perhaps. Now I don't know if they will be Sehwag's decision or if Fletcher's. But as much as I would like to see Sharma get a chance, I have a feeling no one would be dropped. Kohli would have been easily dropped had he not scored well in the last game.

It's not going to happen. What's the point anyway. Just be a token gesture from the people that matter, though it's merited. It's hard enough for batsmen to debut in Aus let alone 3-0 down. Might as well let the seniors bear these mental scars and put the new faces in later this year (won't happen obv)

Apparently Laxman working very hard in nets to prove everyone wrong :winky:. It wont happen and seriously I dont see that even happening later this year.Listening to some of our players and officials interviews and press confrences, they are still living in delusions about our legends and are still in denial mode.So unless ,our legends go on their own ,we wont be able to rebuild with new players.

This is what that makes me feel uneasy for! Who knows, VVS might as well crack a century at Adelaide and lay all the forced-retirement talks to rest!

None of the Big 3 will be dropped in Adelaide and neither are they going to retire. C'mon if You I and have a cushy highly paid job with no accountability for poor performance are we going to resign voluntarily? A place in the Indian cricket team has become like a Highly paid Sarkari Naukri.

Guys news coming out of Adelaide is that the team will be unchanged other than Saha in for Dhoni, it's a disgrace that we can't or won't make the big calls, VVS is finished and so is Dravid one of them should be dropped and forced into retirement. Kumar will be dropped for a spinner and I think Ishant as well should be kicked out of the team.

Story of Indian cricket. As I have said many times before, it is simply a cultural thing. There is no way Australia would have tolerated this. Our players will literally have to forced out. Either ways, Indian cricket is going to be in a mess for some time. Sometimes, you wish to be proved wrong. This team has been hell bent on doing otherwise.
