You cannot play spin totally off the back foot or by blocking. You must must must play some shots, take some risks and push the field back. I watched all morning here, I think we hardly played a shot in the first 20 overs, when we should have been coming down the pitch and lofting them over the in field. We only had to get 145, we had bowled brilliantly and gave it all away. Well played Pakistan That was a cowerdly batting performance by England, I am shamed. Now can someone please post me a thread with some young women with no clothes on as I need some distraction. ArggghHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

They were blanked 5-0 in odis and the prospect of watching Ashwin, Ojha and whoever the 3rd spinner is bowling to those crappy English batsmen on a turning track is something I can't wait for :haha:

When I first checked the score - it was 12/13 in 13/14 overs.. that time I had a feeling this is not going England's way. Defensive mindset just does not work - unless you are supposed to survive last 10-20 overs for a draw. India also paid for going too defensive.

saneindian Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 The UAE tracks spun only little but all that was sharp spin with a lot of bounce. Thats the recipe for success against visiting teams in Asia. Will be criminal if we roll out flat pattas when the Poms and Aussies come visiting to India.
