I cannot logically understand why he is in the ODI side and Pathan is out, ridiculous ,also he looked worse all though out IPL. Pathan has made a good comeback and his figures for 2012 are pretty good.

I agree that he is a slightly better bowler than Irfan but with his batting, i feel Irfan brings more to the side and would be a better pick. Aaron's exclusion is ridiculous. I think Aaron has the potential to be our best limited overs bowler in the coming years.

I think Aaron may not be fully fit after his injury and selectors may want him it for the months ahead. There was a news item that he was in the NCA with Irfan Pathan, Yuvraj Singh and Sehwag a few days before the selection for the Srilanka tour.
