ganeshran Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 3 seamers + 1 spinner + Jaddu in the next match. We can use part timers if pitch is spin friendly
achilles Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 And maybe we can play Sharma as the spinner. Ashwin should warm the benches.
NareshK Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 And maybe we can play Sharma as the spinner. Ashwin should warm the benches. Its not going to happen.
rkt.india Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 3 seamers + 1 spinner + Jaddu in the next match. We can use part timers if pitch is spin friendly why Jaddu is necessary at Perth, can play Pathan at 7 in a hope that he can contribute with both bat and ball better than what Jaddu has done.
bulbul Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 why Jaddu is necessary at Perth' date=' can play Pathan at 7 in a hope that he can contribute with both bat and ball better than what Jaddu has done.[/quote'] $2,000,000,000 is real not ICF $ :--D
tothepoint Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 why Jaddu is necessary at Perth' date=' can play Pathan at 7 in a hope that he can contribute with both bat and ball better than what Jaddu has done.[/quote'] +1 Also IMO, Raina is highly underrated as a part-timer.
tothepoint Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 $2' date='000,000,000 is real not ICF $ :--D[/quote'] kitne laddoo laga diye hai bhai ! itne to sachin ne bhi nai kamaye honge ab tak.
rkt.india Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 $2' date='000,000,000 is real not ICF $ :--D[/quote'] but Jadd is not getting those 2 million dollars...Jaddu will only get 950K which was his original bid last year, rest will go into BCCI's account. They need to pick the players according to the condition. A medium pace bowler at around 130 or less can still be effective with his swing and seam movement while a spinner will be useless with no turn whatsoever if he is not effective with variation of pace which Ashwin and Jaddu are lacking and Rahul Sharma is using so well.
bulbul Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 but Jadd is not getting those 2 million dollars...Jaddu will only get 950K' date=' rest will go into BCCI's account.[/quote'] then what about murli...will they him from this amount? what about Thissara ? he got $650,000 compare to $80,000 from KTK
ganeshran Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 but Jadd is not getting those 2 million dollars...Jaddu will only get 950K which was his original bid last year, rest will go into BCCI's account. . Any source for this info?
rkt.india Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 then what about murli...will they him from this amount? what about Thissara ? he got $650,000 compare to $80,000 from KTK yes...these monies will be distributed according to their original bids.
bulbul Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 yes...these monies will be distributed according to their original bids. Impossible.. Thissara went from $80,000 to $650,000 and now you are telling he will get Only $80,000 i cant believe that Source plzz...
rkt.india Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Any source for this info? I had read this somewhere but do not remember where?
Lord Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Yadav should come in for Asswin n Sehwag instead of Raina
CSK Fan Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I had read this somewhere but do not remember where? What happens to people whose prices dropped?
ganeshran Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I had read this somewhere but do not remember where? What happens to people whose prices dropped? Thats what I was curious about too.
bulbul Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 What happens to people whose prices dropped? Should any of the Kochi players fail to attract the bid, their salaries will be covered by the IPL through the franchise's bank guarantee worth Rs 156 crores that has been encashed by the BCCI. Among the leading players that will be part of the auction are Muttiah Muralitharan, Brendon McCullum, Mahela Jayawardene and Ravindra Jadeja no idea what will happen to reduced price players :dontknow:
rkt.india Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Thats what I was curious about too. They will be compensated through the additional amount which high bid players got. Like Jaddu got 2 million but his original bid was 950K, so additional 1 million or so will be distributed to the players who have got lower bids this time like Murli.
bulbul Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Yadav should come in for Asswin n Sehwag instead of Raina what this has to do with IPL :dontknow:
