Last time I recall Australia toured India, they were whitewashed in both Tests and ODIs! Fortunately they couldn't cheat there way out then, though Ponting tried badly. I fervently hope IPL turns out to be a dud in the coming years.I thought the players would be able to differentiate between playing a club T20 game and playing for their country but it has ruined the technique and game of most of batsmen,none of them have the patience to tough it out in foreign conditions starting from Tendulkar.

This guy, Malcolm Conn is a rabid, jingoistic fool and it's difficult to take anything he writes seriously but one particular thing did stick out here: What should be added here is that on both occasions it happened, India were playing a four pronged pace attack. Yeah, India were playing a four pronged pace attack. I simply cannot get my head around this. It's got to be one of the dumbest things I've seen done in cricket and Dhoni and the selectors did it twice in a month.
