~ Miss Warner ~ Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 It said he was driving home alone after playing a match... Who was the match for? I am surprised the players over there drive themselves to matches.
Sir john Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 It said he was driving home alone after playing a match... Who was the match for? I am surprised the players over there drive themselves to matches. Hours before his life ended at 33 on a Central Trinidad highway, Morton's Queen's Park Cricket Club, the defending champions of the National League Premier Division competition, had just rallied to pull off victory against T&TEC, the team of new IPL recruit Kevon Cooper at the Queen's Park Oval. Morton might have notched a pair in the match, but he still made a positive contribution.
adi B Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 may his soul RIP played some valuable innings, particularly against india( almost everyone does) remember his 80 or 90 odd vs india in srilanka 2005, bailed windies out of trouble only to lose
Crookbond Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Remembering Runako Ambrose - "He was very resilient. That played a big part," he said. "He lost form, he was dropped, but he'd go back to Leeward Islands or Trinidad, score some runs, get back into the team. I don't know of anyone who wouldn't want to have someone like Runako Morton in their team. He's the kind of guy you could go to war with, because he was going to have your back, going to give you everything - not going to short-change you. Always good to have someone like him in a team, and it was just sad he didn't score the kinds of runs to become a permanent fixture." http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/566358.html
