Who told you Akhtar was the best bowler in last 16-17 years while we have seen McGrath, Ambrose, Wasim, Steyn, Pollock, Donald, Bond, Lee, etc.
Marut Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 An adamantine rock, flexible and ready to bat at any position for the sake of the team, does not care for personal records when it comes to the team's cause ( why else will he agree to bat anywhere, including as an opener), adorns the gloves when necessary, not as gifted as a teenage Tendulkar or Lara, but went many a mile through sheer commitment, perhaps more than any other Indian cricketer - what more could you ask from a cricketer. The crowning jewel of Indian cricket, India will miss him and there will not be another Dravid, perhaps for years to come.

I think he had said that Dravid is the one batsmen who frustrates him the most as batsmen because he does not give any chance with his sold defense.
