I am no Sachin fanatic but this is kind of hate for a guy who just scored a century is ridiculous.I went on TOI and they are sick disgusting people really crucifying Sachin.

He deserves every bit of flak that comes his way. He is the 1st "legend"to have put his interests ahead of the team's. Since you are comparing SRT with Christ, let me enlighten you that the legend goes Christ paid for the sins of humanity whereas in SRT's case the team and fans are paying for the selfishness of SRT. His obsession with records/100s is the reason he put himself ahead of the team.

At around 35 over mark, we were favorites to win, Bangladesh asking rate was more than 8 an over. compare that to their chase against Pakistan, they had it in control for most parts. The way we bowled 320 was not safe. Yes I do blame Sachin for batting slow, now lets compare it with the game against Lanka. Against them we were not going anywhere, even after big big partnership of 200 runs. It seemed like we would have ended up around 270, which was below par on that day. I don't know if we would have discussed selfish batting from Gambhir and Kohli if we had lost. not sure about that. Srilankans were in the game from the very begining, with the great start. But they kept losing wicket or should I say we bowled better, pacers bowled with variations, today after lose of Sakib, I thought game is now in the bag, I mean he was the one who was looking dangerous (Ashwin should have taken that catch), but even then after his wicket, it was matter of bowling sensibily. But look what was dished out, full tosses LOL. Even Ashwin was unusually erractic. Personally I feel bad today losing, just like losing that 2nd ODI (Dhoni's debut match), but then it served great good, we were fired up in next game. I am sure this is good kick in the backside for the team and our so called bad game in the series is over.

Its all hypothetical that we would have scored 20 runs more. In game against south africa he got out in power plays how many did we score after that? same thing against England in world cup? its all hypothetical, yes we could have scored 20-30-40 rusn more, or we may have gotten all out for 270 who knows bot are equally possible. If you guys watched the games, you can see how difficult it was for new batsman in first half of the game, Dhoni was struggling for timing, Rohit hardly timed anything..

Same thing If I am not wrong Warner and Clarke in 2nd semifinal. Warner took 140 balls to score 100 on belter of a pitch.. Thing is we lost the game and thats why he is under scanner.
