The positive of this thread is that at least the inmate is wasting his time on cricinfo trying to post on this meaningless thread .... With him being mostly restricted to this thread, other threads are clean More scorecards pls :woot:

In a way I'm glad this thread was created. Shows the true colors of Sachin fanboys and shows the level they would stoop to just to biggy up the so called "God" - the "God" who threw the team under the bus just so that he could notch a personal milestone :hysterical: If this is the definition of being "selfless" and "playing for the team" I am glad Dravid is termed selfish coz there's no way in hell Dravid should be clubbed with Tendulkar after yesterday's show when SRT was busy taking the "50 kilo monkey" off his back while the team paid the price for it.

Showing Dravid's innings of his early career when he was not a typical ODI batsmen and questions were there on his place in Indian ODI team. Those innings had already been criticized on those days by experts and by cricket fans and with those innings his place too was questioned. Yes, he too was criticized back then for batting so slow, so why not Tendulkar. I still remember how people used to abuse Dravid for his slow batting. Do not know what you want to prove now by showing those innings which were always termed poor and Dravid has not ever been termed as a great ODI batsman by anyone. You must also show his 23 ball 50.

Isn't this thread in a way silent admission that yesterday's 100 was indeed selfish and did play a part in our loss? The RD innings pointed out were slow, selfish and did contribute to the losses, so did the 100th 100 that too against the team ranked number 9 on a flat patta.

No .Dravid is the most selfless cricketer. He agreed to open in Tests for the sake of the team, which is a difficult job to sacrifice ur usual position and open, not many greats have done that. That itself shows how much great he is.Incomparable legend..

you understand the difference between ODIs and Tests ?
Well Dravid was never considered a great player in ODIs...though.whereas Sachin is regarded as the greatest ODI batsman in the world let alone in India. If u r trying to defend his innings yestersday, that is not something we would see form the greatest far from it..

lol ... this is some very unique style of defending ... "Ma player is krap so he cant possibly bring disgrace by showing up for 344 ODIs but your player is good hence he can bring disgrace" :hysterical:
This, amongst everything else, is indeed funny! :cantstop:

Well said and that's why I'm glad the SRT fanboy made this thread. Earlier it used to be "God plays for the team and not milestones" and now the defence is "So what if God threw the team under the bus, Dravid used to do the same" :haha: He doesn't realize that Dravid never intentionally did what SRT did yesterday, i.e. played slowly intentionally so that he can get to his milestone to team's detriment. Let me guess the next step... "even bradman used to do it, look at his Strike Rate" :hysterical:
