Just to regain his form on a patta wicket he made 9 runs in 25 balls' date='[/quote'] No of dot balls do not matter,Some batsman are boundary hitters at the end its strike rate sachin career is 87 and he scored at 78,yes there was a decrease and probably due to getting the 100 th hundred,But the pitch was slower than the srilankan game and due to dew the pitch became much better to bat.It made a diff in the end but the main fault is our bowling.

Here his stats breakdown as I remember it. First 50 - in 63 balls app. SR of 80 next 40 in 60 balls app.sr of 66 next 10 in 17 balls app SR of 60 next 14 in 7 balls app SR of 200 How can it be any more obvious. Look what happened after 100. Don't you know dew fell all of a sudden and the pitch became good for batting - it was a minefield while Tendulkar was pottering away before that. :hysterical:

saneindian Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Would be interesting to know how many of those in that list had a split like this in their ODI 100s 1st 50 off 63 balls 2nd 50 off 77 balls I cant remember any such ODI 100 in recent memory, the Warner 100 would perhaps come close.

Random stats !!! i think u r new to ICF... here it's a trend to pick up some random inngs of SRT just to prove him an ordinary cricketer.. but the same people wud again pickup some random inngs or quote from some 50 years newspaper just prove them GOD of cricket.
