Raghav_12 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Virat is better than Bradman. Bradman would have got cricket sick and extremely tired if he had to play 14 back to back international games within first two and half months of year ,across two continents and against 4 teams.

ravishingravi Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I actually agree with OP except the Don part. I can't think of any batsman in modern times being as commanding as Virat has been in last two innings

Raghav_12 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 ah ha' date= so the Virat vs Don preparation have already started :hysterical: poor SRT will have to take the back seat like legends before him :(( what are you complaining about? You the one who brought Don vs Kohli comparison :dontknow:
zen Posted March 18, 2012 Author Posted March 18, 2012 what are you complaining about? You the one who brought Don vs Kohli comparison :dontknow: 'this is "probably" how Don would have batted ...."
CSK Fan Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I actually agree with OP except the Don part. I can't think of any batsman in modern times being as commanding as Virat has been in last two innings But the Don is an Aussie so we should bend over and our pants should be down to our ankle
Mariyam Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 link Kohli: In 2012, 11 games @ an avg of 73 .... this is probably how Don would have batted in ODIs I doubt it. If he were born in the late 80s/early 90s I guess he'd be more into post modern Aussie sports like Counter Strike and Alligator hunting. Probably would give cricket a miss.
mastana Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Kohli vs Don? :hysterical: This is what a quick 50 by Sachin can do to his haters minds. :hehe:
zen Posted March 18, 2012 Author Posted March 18, 2012 But the Don is an Aussie so we should bend over and our pants should be down to our ankle Really?! Abc works for an Indian company, Xyz works for a multi-national. Xyz says multi-national is a better company. MTC: but it's a mult-national so we should bend over :hysterical:
Raghav_12 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 'this is "probably" how Don would have batted ...." and I responded saying that he wouldn't have copped up with the rigors that Kohli goes through while maintaining good standards of batting and that's why Virat is better than Bradman. What's wrong with that?

Ofc probably nothing beats alligator hunting and Don could pick that, just assumed that if he were to pick cricket :P

MTC: but it's a mult-national so we should bend over :hysterical:[/quote'] Yes, thats why of all the batsmen in the world, you had to bring one who never played in ODIs Thats like comparing a multinational company selling TVs with a domestic one selling shoes Aussie, Aussie Aussie, oi oi oi

Of course, that is another point. Don's concentration and commitment for Cricket would have been tested if he had to play Cricket with so much distractions/temptations around.

Raghav_12 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 If he were 100+' date=' he probably wouldn't :giggle:[/quote'] Whatever, Kohli is definitely better bat than Bradman. Kohli's use of wrists while batting is something that Bradman could only have dreamt of. Most of the people on this forum believe that Kohli is better bat than Bradman. If you don't trust me, you can create a poll and see yourself.

Why does everyone here have to turn into Bejan Daruwaala's.
