coffee_rules Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Quote from Dravid on Zaheer's Jelly bean saga: "His captain, Rahul Dravid, was delighted with the net result, and tweaked England's embarrassment ever further. "If he's going to perform like this, can we please get him upset after every game!" he said. "I've never seen him as fired up. He came into the dressing-room really keyed up, so please, if you're going to upset our boys, and they're going to perform like this, I'll be more than happy." Very unlike Dravid, but coming from Andrew Miller, I will take it.
Gambit Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Zaheer is known for his fiery temper. Earlier, he used to channel it on his team mates and coach(Wright). Thankfully, now he's making it his strength.
King Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 Zaheer since about his comeback has been less fiery type. He used to be quite an angry young man before but of late he seemed to knuckle it down and concentrate on his bowling more. Check the last test match highlights, not once did he talk to the batters. This test match was played with different intensity and am glad Zaheer walked the talk.
The Outsider Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 i never thought I would say this after disappointment and disappointment that Zaheer presented, " Zaheer has finally arrived"
