bulbul
PUNE: Team Mumbai's worst fears came true on Friday when Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga returned home due to a recurring back injury. 'Slinga', nicknamed so for his sling-shot action, missed the last match against Delhi at home and his participation was in doubt as he had been ruled out for a "few weeks". Mumbai host Punjab at the Wankhede on Sunday. Nishantha Ranatunga, secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket, confirmed to TOI that Malinga was cooling his heels back home. The franchise, though, remained in denial mode with a team spokesperson maintaining that the player had suffered only a back strain and was available for selection for the next match, the away game against Punjab in Mohali on Wednesday. Hence the extent of Malinga's injury and how long he would be out of action could not be ascertained. asterix
Gayi Bhains Paani Mein... :(( Chalo.. atleast other bowlers will get chance to play. Would like Abu Nechim to get chance..Battingwise MI is as weak and unrelaible as Team DC... While other teams are 'peaking' and and will get excellent replacements in the business end of this IPL, MI might've already seen it's better days as far as this IPL is concerned.. asterix
The Team owner of MI need to get a grip and take control..What sort of chewtiyapa going on? Have they effing lost their mind in only playing 3 videshis? So much money and facilites are at their disposal, how can they effing take these types of stupid decision? The batting sucks!! From where have they collected all those jokers? Look at other teams.. Look how they've prepared their team? Epic :fail:
someone
The Team owner of MI need to get a grip and take control. Yes, the owners need to change the umpires with their money power. Especially those who can get intimidated by their squad and give favorable decisions to MI. then, They should launch complaints about the bad pitches(like the one against DD) which have caused their batting failures and ask IPL to allow them to buy another player as Malinga is injured. Or if possible, to delay all of their upcoming matches till Malinga is fit.
