For some reason I was convinced that the pitch was good for spinners, but Watson and Warner proved that there's only so much the pitch can do. The only time I started enjoying the cricket a bit was when I realised the Dhoniconda was going to rotate nearly every possible bowler in the team. I'm also hopeful that Sehwag is brought back for Chawla, and that Yuvi replaces him as our 5th bowler. Reminds me of the World Cup. What's upsetting is that India have a really good batting line-up, but they just don't play to their potential. Anyway, I'm confident that India are going to come good against Pak on Sunday. I've followed India enough to know that sometimes a crushing defeat is a blessing in disguise, because it's often followed by a strong series of games. Pak and SA is where India are going to shine. It's Do or Die now, and the likes of Dhoni and Virat thrive on such occasions. But the problem with such a crushing defeat is that NRR takes a huge battering and even if we win the next 2 it will be tought to get to the semis. Now the only thing to look forward to in the tourney is the match against Pakis and hopefully we show up

In hindsight, all of us can say what is correct or not - had you called this earlier I would've sided with you.

Thats the hint right there...what about saying that he wants India to dominate all 3 formats or something like that...Now don't want to judge him by reading into his comments but that doesn't say anything about his motivation... I want to run the Marathon this year-Does that tell you that I am motivated enough to train?

We play lowest number of International T20 cricket compared to other Test playing nations, is he supposed to be responsible for performance of players picked based on IPL? Is he coach of some domestic franchise in IPL? Is he not eligible for family vacation during IPL time period or is he supposed to watch 80 matches/season just to be ready few T20's India play each year? Has he seen Balaji, Chawla, Pathan earlier in Tests or ODI's? Your frustration would have been valid if we had hired likes of Stephen Fleming. Your captain/selectors are responsible, stop masking your weakness with Firangi coach excuse.

Why they keep persisting with Sharma is a mystery. UV was an emotional pick. Bhaji selection was worse then us picking Malik. Yousaf Pathan at 7 and another spinning option should have been there. On the whole your spinners bowled wrong length and were too slow. Rohit in T20s is a good pick, Irfan as opener a bit iffy but the biggest problem was going with 5 bowlers. That strategy has never won us anything, and as for Yuvraj I have no clue what value-add he brings to the team. He can't bat at the moment and he surely can't be played as a specialist bowler.
