West Indies and Australia have been fortunate to reach the semis. Though that 15 minutes of rain for Australia did wonders for them. Killed two birds with one stone.

If only I had a dollar for how many times "getting knocked out third time in a succession" is repeated on this thread. :giggle:
And a dollar more for when it has not been addressed and counter weighted by the win over Pakis.

Karma is a *****!.. Aussies had it coming to them for a long long time.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer team :haha: The way they shut up shop and didn't even try to win or get close to Paki total in super 8s was quite distateful and I wonder what happened to "spirit of cricket" and "playing hard" that time :giggle:

why do u think chasing 112 was a bad idea? at half way through the innings they were not even gonna get 100...had they targetted the actual target they cold have risked getting knocked out.. i see nothing wrong with it specially seeing they got to 112 in last over yes they were lucky with rain but still cant blame them

They tried. If you see the shots Bailey, Maxwell and White got out to. Pakistanis were bowling well and most of their players are not good players of spins.

Proves once again karma is a bi@tch. The way Aussies played against Pakis in the super 8 game was shameful. Time for another "shameful" tweet from Raina's nephew :yay:
FTFY :--D

The problem I have is that Aussies never really tried to go for the actual target from the get go. It wasn't as if they gave up the chase mid-way but that they were always going for 112. If Aussies had to win the match to make it to semis I am sure they would have gotten a lot closer to the Paki total but they didn't even want to do that.
