deathmonger Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 they lost to sri lanka in late 90s too. (at home).
rkt.india Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 That Zimbabwe team was very decent, better than our current test team.:winky:
cameron_black Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 pakistan's chances of coming back were hampered by fog in 1998. but still giving away a series win to ZIM is unacceptable IMO.
cameron_black Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 b'desh, pakistan and india were zimbabwe's bunnies back then in tests :giggle: http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=1;result=1;team=9;template=results;type=team;view=results
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 their most surprising defeat is to WI in WI,when they purposely did not get the last wicket. It was so evident. losers. deshdrohis
Ultimate_Game Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Pakis losing to everyone after the advent of neutral umpires has been a common occurence. Pakistan have messers Shakkor Rana and co. to thank for their stellar record at home else they would have been languishing near the bottom.
the don Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 lol, that zimbabwe side was better than the indian team of the 90s , olonga alone was about 20 ks quicker than prasad, remarkable effort if you consider the population difference of the two countries .
Sehwag1830 Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 ZIM was miles better than likes of Pakistan. Heath Streak would have been greatest Pakistani batsman had he played for Pakistan. I think that defeat exposes the Pakistani team after home umpires were removed.
Ultimate_Game Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 lol' date=' that zimbabwe side was better than the indian team of the 90s , olonga alone was about 20 ks quicker than prasad, remarkable effort if you consider the population difference of the two countries .[/quote'] Says the guy whose team has only managed to do anything coz of their home umpiring. Everyone knows what transpired after the advent of neutral umpires :hysterical:
Sarkar Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 lol' date=' that zimbabwe side was better than the indian team of the 90s , olonga alone was about 20 ks quicker than prasad, remarkable effort if you consider the population difference of the two countries .[/quote'] Kings of 1990s used to get pasted in crunch games :hysterical: :hysterical:
the don Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Kings of 1990s used to get pasted in crunch games :hysterical: :hysterical: unlike another team that used to lose every other game , oh wait still does, 8-0:hysterical:
Ultimate_Game Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Kings of 1990s used to get pasted in crunch games :hysterical: :hysterical: By the way didn't we see that India was actually ranked at the top in 90s. Wonder why Pakis think they were the king of 90s when they lost to Zimbos, Lankans and every other side they played in that decade :hmmm: That sort of delusion has got to be comforting for Pakis who haven't had anything to shout about since Shakoor Rana hung up his boots.
Sehwag1830 Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 unlike another team that used to lose every other game ' date=' oh wait still does, 8-0:hysterical:[/quote'] 8-0 > 13-0 :haha::haha::haha::haha:
Andrew Peter Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 ZIM was miles better than likes of Pakistan. Heath Streak would have been greatest Pakistani batsman had he played for Pakistan. :haha: Funny but thoda jyada ho gaya yaar . I think its not nice to ridicule the Pakistan team to such an extent but someone like Andy Flower would surely have been their best test batsman ever .
Ultimate_Game Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 unlike another team that used to lose every other game ' date=' oh wait still does, 8-0:hysterical:[/quote'] Let me see how long Pakis have to go to so they can feel good :hmmm: That would be 1986 when Miandad hit the 6 and since then it's 9-0 in World Cups :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: I can't still agree on which was my favorite Paki bashing - the 96 Jaddu one, the 2003 SRT hammering, the 2007 T20 Cup final or the 2011 semi-final when the paki team cried like little girls in the dressing room :hysterical: Even Kohli's hammering in the last encounter was pretty entertaining :cantstop:

Bud when a hack like Afridi is their "all-time legend" and he's on par with Yusuf pathan who doesn't even get into the Indian team, it should be clear where pakis stand. As my signature shows we own Pakis big time when it counts. Pakis haven't done better than India even in one global tourney.
