Crookbond Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I will start training soon: Yuvraj Singh http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/50844/i-will-start-training-soon-yuvraj-singh "I'll start training in a week or two. I definitely want to get back on the field as soon as possible and wear my India cap again," Yuvraj said. As far as getting back to serious cricket is concerned, the left-hander said he would take a call depending on the way his body responds to training. "I can't really give a time right now, because I'll have to see how my body responds to the training and the workouts," he was quoted as saying in IPL's official website. Personally, I don't expect him to be in time for the World T20 (CT mode). Probably, India's next ODI series?
PriyankaSR Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I don't see him coming for the world cup either. :dontknow:
msb1991 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Chemotherapy is bad, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is back to 100% fitness in 6 months. It all depends if he suffered lung scarring from the chemo (a side-effect that sometimes occurs) or whether the tumour caused any permanent damage. If not, I estimate 6 months minimum - if he trains hard straight away. Wouldn't be shocked if he just wants to chill for some time though.
