In the time leading to the WC, we had Nehra doing that job and Zaheer was good as well. But, irrespective I will still have Awana on the team sheet.

But, irrespective I will still have Awana on the team sheet.[/quote'] i will prefer kaul as he bowls bit fuller awana is bit like shami shami moves the ball more and has decent short ball too so no point in playing awana if shami plays maybe attack should be bhuvan/praveen kumar,yadav and shami ahmed/any other young bowler i dont want ishant but he will play and rohit will open the innings :P

Have you seen this guy field in an international game,looked like deer lost in headlights....we have enough of those 135-140 bowlers to pick from,nothing special about this guy,there are atleast 10 bowlers ahead in the pecking order

In that light, I will prefer Awana as 1 down. FYI - Shami Ahmed is not a 1 down bowler.
