Gauti's technique is not suitable against good fast bowlers...he comes down the wicket to the fastest bowlers...it usually favors him in the SC..but he is such a good player with a crappy technique. So how did he score a hundred in sa against morkel and steyn and did well in sa conditions which are by far the toughest.Gambhir has improved his technique since his comeback.he does not fall over as he used to do in early part of his career,yes he has a habbit of poking outside offstump but that is due to odi cricket and he should be able to overcome it,His game depends on his mental strength he is a real fighter.

In sa you do need luck and the spell morkel bowled was one of the best i have seen in a long time but he did not throw his wicket he was hit a no of times,I reackon his drop in form and fitness in eng and sa were the major reason for the white washes.
