2lv0360.png It changes due to lot of factors like home ground conditions, batting positions, batting freedom, current form, your role etc.. But Yusuf has regressed very badly since he left RR.

barring a couple of matches in 2010' date=' uthappa has and will always be mediocre whichever franchise he plays[/quote'] I think he had one season where he was a huge impact player for RCB.

Bangalore is a high scoring ground. Most of the guys who play for RCB should have higher averages. Brilliant batting surface for T20. Small ground. Ball nicely coming on.

Very good Point indeed! I was about to say that Uthappa particularly seems to have affinity with Bangalore which is probably due to what you said and also being his home ground for Ranji. The only season, i.e. 2010 is where Uthappa played a large chunk of matches in Bangalore (2009 being held in SA) and his stats are extremely good for that year. You can see Yusuf being so good in 2008 n 2010 and not so much in 2009 due to it being held in SA. His stats with KKR have diminished so much and in this year his very bad form is a big surprise.

Yeah a lot also depends upon how the team management defines the role that batsmen. Saurabh Tiwary was pretty good when he was in MI, when he used to come no 4, but has been a dud in Banglore so far.

Problem is yusuf is that he use to bat for more overs when he was with RR. Yusuf is not used properly by KKR , in RR he use to face lot of overs but not in KKR.
