I hardly watch any movies these days, but since it's sports related and is being made by Farhan Akhtar, I have huge expectations from it. I guess every sports lover in India should love this. Milkha Singh was a genuine run machine of our country. I have seen his interviews and the guy talks with so much passion. Glad they are making a movie on him. I hope it's a great movie.

Clarke Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Milkha Singh's greatness was that he was so close to winning a olympic medal without the help of any coach, in one of his interviews..he mentioned that he ran so fast initially in the 400m race, if it was a 200m dash..he was a clear winner...too bad he couldn't save the stamina towards the end. From what i recall in the English chapter, his trainer/manager was not keen on him participating in 200m & what he clocked in practice would've won him the silver in the finals.
