And with the emergence of T20, almost all bowlers have done a Chetan Sharma once.

I remember as this being the first all-bowled hat-trick and I guess this would be the only instance of what you are talking about as well.

Yup, they are rare. Wasim Akram (West Indies and Australia), Danny Morrison (India) and Waqar Younis (New Zealand) are other ODI bowled hat tricks.

Yes, I was about to mention that. I think it is only occasion where team won when they needed 10 runs off 2 balls. However, if you take IPL in consideration, Dwayne Smith's 14 off 3 balls tops everything. Just wonder that last ball six used to be such a rare thing that people would remember Chetan Sharma forever for that. In IPL if 6 runs are required on last ball, people will put more money on batting side to pull it off, then the bowling side.

I believe in a List-A match in South African domestic cricket, 10 runs were required off the last ball. Jonty Rhodes then hit a 6 off a no-ball and 4 off the next ball. Richard Snell was the bowler.

There are two interesting NZ-SA matches in the last 2 balls list. Carlton & United Series 1997/98

Off the second last ball, Nash slashed Pollock towards the third-man fence. The ball hit the boundary rope on the full and was rightly called four, but it was bad luck that it landed where the rope overlapped itself, presenting a wider target. Had the ball carried the centimetre or two further, it would have been six, levelling the scores with one ball to play.

This is where it gets more interesting - had this game been played in the current playing conditions, the match would've been a tie! South Africa tour of New Zealand 1998/99 Klusener hit a six of the last ball with four required to win.
