Jersey #10 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Oh boy! What a chase, breath taking stuff from Delhi. Gayle was outstanding for RCB but DD fought well. I think Sehwag was the difference between the two sides today. Well played both the teams. :hatsoff: Positives RCB - Two Points and a shot at play offs DD - Ross Taylor is back in form DD has more positives to take out of this game than RCB. They were crushing every other team without Ross and now they have added feather to their hat. It looks like a real force now.
JourneyMan Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Don't forget that M Morkel wasn't playing either. With Sehwag and Morkel back, DD have a lot to be smiling about.
Lord Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Don't forget that M Morkel wasn't playing either. With Sehwag and Morkel back' date=' DD have a lot to be smiling about.[/quote'] hope not in next game
Zelig Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Did Delhi miss Sehwag or Did Delhi miss Sehwag? What's the difference? *hmmmm2*
Jersey #10 Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 Did Delhi miss Sehwag or Did Delhi miss Sehwag? What's the difference? *hmmmm2* exactly! Basically the only option(s) you have Did Delhi miss Sehwag? :beee:
Jersey #10 Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 ^but Viru will make 80(32) and Morkel will take 4-18 Best thing about this DD team is that they aren't dependent on just one or two players. Most other teams have their trump players that they can't really do without (especially, RCB).

Number Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Pathan's bowling has degraded. Never gets the wicket upfront with the new ball. Ends up with rpo 8+. Though in batting he has helped them lower down the order.
ganeshran Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Did Delhi miss Sehwag or Did Delhi miss Sehwag? What's the difference? *hmmmm2* Its a popular phrase
SLICKR392 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Even Russel is a huge positive. Keep him away from bowling, he will do good. Mahela,Viru,Taylor,Russel,Naman,Warner. Any of these 3 play well then these guys are gonna be very tough to beat. And if Viru faces more than 60 bowls, its all over for the oppostition.

The biggest plus for DD is that they dont have a complete out of form yet compulsory in XI guy like Jadeja or Y Pathan. That makes their team more strong Hope DD keeps Morkel & Sehwag in rest more in their next match & keep playing Russell.

asterix Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Everything good for Delhi but unfortunately the final will be played in Chepauk...
King Khan Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 DD did quite well despite Warner (KP alter) makes any click in this match which is more concerning than Shewag's absence. This squad with performing russel looks better to me. If they had Morkel in, maybe DD could win it by restricting Gayle bit more.
rajmarie Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Everything good for Delhi but unfortunately the final will be played in Chepauk... The thing is that our CSK owner misused his power...& allocate IPL final this year to Chennai + last year CT also....& he justified that by saying that is the reward to CSK for doing good in IPL4. So since CSK is tanking this year.....lets see if he justified the next year IPL final to DD or KKR. :nervous:

The finalist will get to host the playoffs & the winner will get the finals/eliminator. Fall in line! *beee*

So, if your beloved KKR wins it this year, they will host the finals next year. How do you guys manage to biatch even there is nothing to biatch about? :hysterical:
