i have come across few sites where there is so much match fixing whinging going on especially from ardent fans of the franchises. If you are someone who doesn't like IPL or doesn't follow a team seriously much it makes sense. If they follow a team seriously and they call it a match fixing when they lose, why do they follow bunch of sell outs in the first place? Why do they spend so much time designing websites, do all kind of videos, gimmicks only to see them being a sell out? It just doesn't make sense.

Isn't the headline about Sehwag's blunder? Is it a guilty conscience which makes you think of fixing? As for your point, it's only been so blatantly obvious in this IPL. Almost everyone who watched IPL this time is calling it fixed and vowing not to watch it next time. So maybe as you say, those ardent fans won't spend so much time supporting their Trans. next time. No one was saying anything about fixing before the last 2_3 CSK matches. Now I am not supporting then as I didn't even see most of those matches. But just answering your points.

Na.. i went through some responses.. and also match thread of today's match. Some are really convinced that DD players fixed the match . Next year same group of guys will follow it and go home crying when the lose "match fixed" why do you take it seriously and get upset so much.

I think IPL website messup or whatever it was made is suspect, otherwise no was talking about fixed matches before that. If matches like these fixed which team will win then it is not just by players whole IPL management must be involved in it which seems very unlikely.

In DD facebook even before the match they conceded the match was fixed :haha: . It was funny that they are rooting their side DD with such passion only to label them as cheats . Anyway.. it is fun to watch the reactions. So much emotional outpour from some fans as if they lost their kidney :cantstop:

If that's true then we are oing the same way as our padosis... if we win it's coz we are so tailunted but if we lose it's phixed :giggle: Between I am surprised ppl are taking IPL so seriously as to coming up with such conspiracy theories.

Honestly, Are IPL matches really worth fixing? If it is all about TRP ratings, even Pune matches got excellent TRPs. The prize money involved is peanuts, compared to what the Franchises spent on players and support staff. Why would any franchise want to fix IPL matches?

I feel sorry for Veeru that everyone's blaming him. The decision of what to do if u win the toss is always a collective one. Its normally taken in the team meeting the night before. Similarly the team selection is also done by the team management..including coaches, mentors etc. So no point in blaming Veeru alone for these decisions.
