Post the IPL, we do not play the next series till20th July (SL ODIs start on 22nd July). Some of the players will be on the A tour to WI, but most of the squad that played in Aus tests will have that rest period. The question is how best can the BCCI utilize this gap? Has been ages since the team had an even a week long preparatory camp. Give them a 4-5 week of rest and post that will be a good idea to have a bunch of 25-30 players in the country at Bangalore or even better at Dharmshala for 8-10 days and let them train with the coaching staff working on specific areas. Can the BCCI think along those lines or will the Spot Fixing controversy no consume all their energy?

He will be training in an academy in Australia.

He's anyway doing it for his own survival. He knows he has very less time/limited chances to get back to the Test team.

True but Indian youngsters could do worse than to look to emulate Raina in terms of his hard work, dedication and attitude to fielding.
