That sums up the development from Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Squeeze the masses whilst an elite few live a champagne life.

Khalpat Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Most probably will be an RSS owned account paid by BJP Bang on target. Look who else have these Sanghis , BJP wallahs and Modi PR people hired, I mean this is too much man: "Well, I would say Mr Modi has been acknowledged as a finest administrator in the country. There is no doubt about that. When I come to Ahmedabad and I come here (Vadodara) and look at the power situation here, the quality of roads, look at other infrastructure, it is very very clear from the data on the ground that this state has performed extremely well." http://www.ndtv.com/article/india/narendra-modi-acknowledged-as-one-of-the-finest-administrators-infosys-founder-narayana-murthy-366506?pfrom=home-otherstories Lets start campaign against him, Outty, MTC comeon we cannot sit and see all of these, Tata, NArayanMurthy, Army chiefs, Darul-ullum head praising Modi. We have to do something to stop him or else how would Rahul Baba become PM. Time for CBI enquiry against Infosys.
Subeshkumar Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I like modi ,he has really done good job in making Gujarat developed. Most people like him.

someone Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 ^^^ No surprise that mainstream media didn't show much of that. Actually the media's role has been well documented by Madhu Purnima. Do check the false propaganda by the media on her website Manushi. To even say Modi is authoritarian is odd. He is one of the most assessable politicians in our country and works for the people. He is from the grassroots and even his doubters will agree on that. Compare that with the likes of so called democratic Pappu who absolutely hides from people and have not a single quote in his >10 years of career.

His policies are very pro businesses. But the real question is how much are they pro poor? And is it enough for everyone to give him a vote of confidence at the national level? As for roads and infrastructure, there are other states which have done quite good too

This person has to get a Degree from top universities of the World and where as others can just get a Certificate from Gandhi family to lead the nation?

As for roads and infrastructure, there are other states which have done quite good too I think you can see the videos of muslim weavers praising him. Not sure even that makes him a candidate at national level. But the idea is to make people in denial see things.

But the real question is how much are they pro poor? And is it enough for everyone to give him a vote of confidence at the national level? As for roads and infrastructure, there are other states which have done quite good too At the national level, there is a doubt that why a person in say UP would vote Mr. Modi because he has done good work in Gujarat. It do not make complete sense but still he is gaining popularity, I have noticed that previously it was only my office colleague or middle class educated youngsters talking about him but now I can see even Panwallah and Autowallah discussing about him. It will take time, I dont think he can ever become PM but still if he can start a development bound healthy competition between states to get vote it would be remarkable for India. Talking about policies for pro poor, a state having barren land and just 2% of Agriculture growth turns out to be fastest growing in Agriculture with 10% of growth within span of last 5 years much more than national average talks volume of his effort for Poors and farmers.
zumi Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 both congress and bjp would like to see modi declared pm, makes it easy for one to attack and the other to laud him.
someone Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 both congress and bjp would like to see modi declared pm' date=' makes it easy for one to attack and the other to laud him.[/quote'] Congress actually would not like that. It makes it more unpredictable and challenges the status quo which is already in Congress favor. The issue is actually when will BJP make the announcement for PM public. That's some strategic thinking. Also wonder why there is no pressure for Congress to do likewise, who is their PM? The media really does not make it a balanced field.

The media really does not make it a balanced field. I think Cong would love it. If Modi is the PM candidate then all Cong would have to do is to tell the media (which is already in its pocket) to continuously repeat the words "Gujarat riots, gujarat riots, gujrat riots..." and that will be it. Whatever else the BJP does after that won't have much effect. There's no pressure on Cong because everybody knows that Rahul/Sonia Gandhi will have the remote control irrespective of who is the PM. IMO BJP will not declare any PM candidate - they will go under the collective leadership of various leaders with Advani as the first among the equals (because he is the senior most and many NDA allies are now saying they will accept him as PM candidate) and the they will declare the PM candidate if they are in a situation to form the Govt.

With the current state of affairs, and the infighting within the main opposition(BJP), the Congress would certainly want this to continue and would rather want the tried and failed approach of BJP to stay. But, with Modi in the picture, it creates that uncertainty and unpredictable together with prospect of unity. The Congress is also very much vary of it. And the Gujarat riots is on the line of being oversold. Firstly, the Gujarat riots is being false fully presented as a religious issue which imo is wrong. Of course, certain communities will continue to believe in that religious aspect but there are definitely growing elements whom are now voicing their discomfort on how it is getting ridiculous. Of course, the media is biased but Congress cannot go overboard.
