Another very simple question if everything is such a myth which ofcourse you must be knowing better, why exactly have the people voted for him three times in succession as far as I know Indian voters hate one thing and that is chest thumping, the one reason why the brilliant government of NDA was ousted even performing so good due to their show off. Please treat it like a discussion - in fact you have more knowledge on this than I do but credibility issues still stand. This document is an official figure from the Gujarat government much like Kent RO saying it is the #1 brand of purifying water. Just in case - I am not accusing the government of fudging numbers; just that I am more skeptical of some claims considering past history.

He visits small villages of his state, inaugurates new schools, administer things personally. His entire administration works in tandem. Link All we have on the other side is some old lady flagging off few trucks and goes back to her nest. No responsibility, no actions only taking credit for whatever is happening. So only stupids will believe that they are after Modi because of 2002. They know what he is capable of. From what I learnt is that, he wanted a strong economic growth and a model which will sustain based on solid foundation so that other aspects of overall development (So called inclusive dev) can be achieved. Such growth can be achieved over the sustained period of time. Now that he has achieved economic growth, he can maintain it and work on malnutrition, girl child education, male-female ratio (long term) etc. issues in next 5 years. I wont be surprised if these HDI figures change significantly by next assembly elections in Gujarat. I hope at that time, all his critics gather here to accept it gracefully. Good on him that he is working towards HDI and I hope he changes something which he has not in the last 9 years or so - he would make a killer candidate.

Anyways, this is as official as it gets. I heard Abdul Kalam lauded the Gujarat agricultural growth. Beside, I aint representing Guj or Modi. I had seen these documents long ago so shared. You are right, until one sees audited figures, one cannot be 100% sure.

Going by that logic, many such candidates are already ruling the country since 1984. Having said that, my view on Modi is still clear. He should step down and give specific time frame for inquiries to finish, if state and central machinery cannot prove anything substantial in that time frame he can come back in power. I guess, these days morality has no value. BJP is no different.

Firstly, there has the most in-depth investigation against him in where Modi himself has co-operated and he was given a clean chit. Compare that with tons of "allegations" against other high profile names ( Gandhi, Vadra) which doesn't even get a proper investigation. Not to forget, tons of interference and pressure from led by Teesta Setalvad to wrongly influence. If you are on to Moral responsibility, Teesta must be the first one together with the Congress government for its falsified information. Now unless, you want to challenge the very Indian law or look to put him under "Italian" law, there is nothing additional on that. Even Congress understands it very well, there is no proper evidence and thus Congress themselves have now shifted their attention on other stuffs to target "Modi".

But I dont know how else to comprehend the fact that 3000 brothers of ours died, hindu, muslim together. What do you expect. Some holy cow should take blame for that? Thats not Raj dharma. We talk of Ram rajya but thats mere a talk, we dont follow it. So morality of that massacre has to be up on the leader and he has to step down as a gesture even if he was not directly/indirectly involved. Leave it, you wont understand it. At some point BJP has to set high standard in politics of the country. I never had any hopes from congress for that matter.
