Despite India's massive population there is only one Sree but that shouldn't dishearten us, such quality is rare.

Lets face it Australians on average are much taller and better built than an average Indian. Average height for Indian males nationwide is only 5'5. Aussies it is 5'11. They have better genetics, you never see any Caucasian males in a 100m final and never see "Black" guys in a swimming 100m final. Just like that you don't see fast India seamers too often. Why does Pakistan produce them though?! Mind=Blown. Training hard all the time will get you to your genetic potential ability at birth but you cant exceed it. If I picked up a bat and played all day everyday in nets Im not gonna become Sachin.

BBC claim to be unbiased but before the CW games their "sports analyst" had an article focusing on India's poverty and slums in Dehli rather than the games. It drew plenty of justified hate in the comments. ****ing haters I tell you. That is pure bs, what about war torn countries in Africa where women are treated like ****. What about Afghanistan? In India literacy rates are on the rise, more people becoming urbanised and the nation in general is developing fast. It is becoming a good place for people to reside in. Probably more incidents occur in India than other countries and BBC phaggots didn't consider India has a population 10x that of most other countries.

But Pakistan do produce good pacers so I think the problem is more deep rooted. Also height doesn't have much to do with bowling good as such, plus we have tall bowlers who are crap. I think as a country not many people want to put in the hard yards to be a good seam bowler.

Look at the Indian team, most are max 5' 9'', the only tall players are mainly the bowlers because it is an advantage to be taller. Likes of Viru, Gauti, Tindu, Rohit, Raina Kohli, Mahi are representative of the population. Ishant is crap. Almost played 50 tests regularly and bowling average approaching 40. No good team would even bother to persist with someone like that, usually would be sent to domestic for a long hard stint. The fact we keep putting him in our test team and also refer to him as inexperienced shows the death of bowling talent in our country or mindset of selectors. Umesh looks decent but when you compare to 18 year old Aussies and SA's you realise we have a lot to do. I think Pakistani's prefer bowling. Even at school or clubs, their bowlers were quicker whereas Indian's prefer batting.
