How can that be?[/quote'] There has been some discussion that his ancestors from the father's side came from the Sissodia clan of Rajputs. Conversely, there have also been some articles saying that his forefathers came from the Hoysala clan in Karnataka. The term Maratha itself did not exist until Shivaji established his confederacy. What is for sure is that his constitution and appearance was very much like the people from the Raigad region.

Tbh I think it's fake, he is no way a Rajput. Must have paid someone to get that rep. I know these clans very well and I am surprised it extends to him given his background.
