Well, even in T20 international cricket, India is utter rubbish - we have been humiliated in the last two World T20s despite our guys playing a gazillion games in that tamasha league thing. Ironically we actually won the World T20 before the supposed greatest tournament in the universe even existed. The only thing we remain good at is ODI cricket but even there, we managed to lose to friggin Bangladesh in our most recent tournament.

We have a chance at redeeming ourselves in T-20 Internationals - our guys have the ability and the little bit of temperament it takes. And like you said, we are excelling in 50-over LOIs and can continue to build. At least, our guys appear to want to play these formats. But, except for a handful of guys, no one seems to have the willingness or willpower to stick it out in 5-day cricket. Time to let go. Of course, I reserve the right to turn right back and cheer for them in tests if they manage to change the tide and start winning there!

It appears that the higher-echelon players are not willing to give their best to test cricket and are gravitating to financial advantage that the IPL offers. Srinivasan categorically stated there won't be any inquiry into performance. That is the saddest part in all this.

In t20 cricket we will do well on srilankan pitches as short ball will not be as much of a problem as it was in england t20 wc and wi t20 wc.

Disappointed with a few guys specifically - Mukund, Rahane and Rohit. We need at a minimum one opener to replace Sehwag soon. With Dravid leaving and potentially VVS to follow soon, we need another middle order slot to be replaced as well. Can only do so much with Pujara alone.

Windies A might throw some new stars.Moreover only rohit sharma,pujara,rahane have got some skill to play abroad rest of the batsman have basic flaws,Like Manoj "Cant play short ball" Tiwary, Abhinab "I dont Play ont he front foot" Mukund and rest.shami has done well which is a good news.

From all the potential, Rahane was THE biggest disappointment. Not sure if this is one off or he has his future sorted out.

was this really bad tour ? bowlers did fine for most part.. bishoo said this was flat track.. and if batting team doesn ot scores 300 in 6 innings u have got to wonder abt there skill cos normally even on green tracks its iportant to score 300 atleast in one innings to win a match its a absolute must imo ahmed did well i hope he develops further this season same with awana ateast bowling is developing a little

Manoj "Cant play short ball" Tiwary stil as the heart to try and improve by the looks of it. Other than Pujara the others just bottled it. Rohit felt he hd done enough after 1 innings ?

I see a positive start! India A team and Under 19, under 16 teams should play 6 months of the year in WI & similar tracks in SA, AUS, NZ. These failures are the best things that could happen to Indian cricket - if we keep failing only then the cricketers will improve. And please, no comments on "we will see them in T20". Suck up and admit that you have failed, keep playing in these conditions is the only way to improve. If BCCI sends India A & junior teams on 4-5 such tours every year, we will see the change!

None of these guys are kids either. They're all experienced FC cricketers. They should have been able to make the transition. Got another tour coming up. Hopefully a better performance.

yup they are not young like 19 year old 20 year old guys. They are around 24/25. We expect some sort of maturity already.
