IM6x-sBoy1k yehah, saw this one too...actually he was a high tempered guy in his teen nd used to smash racquets without self control...after the death of his 1st coach, who was very close to him (carter) in 2002, he was shocked knowing this, he even ran madly in the streets ,he was in usa that time, but he decided to take his life nd the game seriously nd wanted to honor his old coach...now we all know what he has achieved :hatsoff:
adi B Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 heres the highlights of aus open semi 012..fed vs rafa... just look at the quality of tennis which was being played here...almost all the games in all the sets went to deuce..both the players had more than dozen of break points, both broke each other many times...some of the shots in this game were out of the world..some passing shots,drop shot from both were ridiculous...the 4 set match went for 3 hr 40 mins.almost all the sets went for an hour.. the other thing which i wanted to show was, this blue aus open court is way too slow, the green one earleir used to be so fast, this court looked like a semi clay semi hard court...heck even mutua madrid looked quicker than this.. i hope they relay the court ,make it more fast !! what do ya thing folks? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=aSmDCHLJM70&NR=1

The US Open is now the fastest surface for the slams but since 2010, the organizers have been using the heavier balls instead of the lighter ones. Wimbledon was slowed down around 2002-2003 because the surface underneath was made harder. The Rebound Ace that was changed in 2008 to Plexicushion has made the surface slower. Now, Cincinnati plays the fastest , not the US Open.
