I think he does not play T20i because for the last few years he loves nurdling to records. Doesn't take the attack to the bowlers. Almost like Collingwood now but obviously a lot better.

I disagree. In T20Is Collingwood would actually be considered better as he could bowl and was an amazing fielder to boot.

His bowling is not reliable enough in T20i, he could go for serious runs. In ODI he is better than our part timers when people take less risks. Yeah he is a good fielder but Tendu is way better than him in T20 even though he doesn't bat like before. When Tendu opens in T20 you know he can easily set it up, he will score 20/30 at least with SR touching 120 and he can accelerate later.

Where have i given you that impression ? I dont recall ever saying that pagan beliefs are not indegenous to India. All i am saying is India is not unidimensional pagan culture where nature is almighty and every non conformal entity needs to be idolised as against understood' date= there is high philosophy in india, Indian religions are not like for instance arabic ( honor shame paradigm) but a karmic 'sin and redemption' paradigm.

The acceptance and inclusion of abrahamic faiths and even other philosophies into Indian culture means that by definition India has a very pluralistic society and culture. But paganism is at the heart of it. In fact I'd argue that it is our pagan fundamentals that are responsible for our inclusiveness.

By the reference to "god" for Einstein I was driving home the point of adulation. And as I have explained in my previous post, I don't think who call Sachin god think that he is some kinda supernatural entity. If you find someone who thinks Sachin = controller of the universe then please present that specimen to me.

I accept that in ancient times great humans were often called 'gods' since they seemed to have unfathomably higher ability either physically or intellectually. As a matter of fact i remember reading some author speculating that had Gandhi been born a few hundred years earlier he would have been made into a 'god' like Buddha and Mahaveer.

In fact Gandhi is considered an avatar of Shiva. And that is how humans are. We make the great ones among us as gods. Was Jesus some supernatural entity? Was Krishna or Buddha some supernatural entity? Was Vivekananda a supernatural entity? They were just extraordinary human beings that became gods as time went by

Or, is it more plausible that people who call sachin as god do it because of their love, adulation, awe, and the inspiration they derive from him. Are you familiar with the phrase used by rockers "he is a god, man" when they refer to Hendrix, Satriani, Cobain, etc? How is it different from the Sachin, Pele, Maradona example? The Indian state quite literally worships Gandhi...is he a god? He was just a great human being who achieved the pinnacle of his field - non violent politics

There is a difference. In most of the cases you have mentioned, the reference is more passing in nature, as a casual comment. In case of SRT you have guys claiming he is more deserving to be called GOD than GOD himself, whoever he may be. That is laughable at best.

Dude you are contriving and talking about things that i never said. I dont have enough interest levels to continue this. You seem to not know what i am speaking about.
