Coz politics may get in his way and he may not even manage to get into the Punjab Ranji team. In India A, he'll be directly competing against Akshay Darekar who's quite a talented guy, and had a pretty good West Indies tour a few months back.

Maybe the new panel will be more consistent (Doubt it). I think Harmeet, Chand, Sandeep and Baba are gonna make the big time

Maybe ... but Akshay Darekar was the best Indian SLA in India's domestic cricket the year before by MILES. Got 32 wickets @ 17. No U-19 cricketer should be fast tracked into the India A team (playing 5-day cricket) without testing them out in domestic cricket.
