vvvslaxman Posted July 14, 2012 Author Posted July 14, 2012 I am sticking to iphone much like i am sticking to windows.. Supports more apps. Few things could have been added. But not that important for me. If a phone that comes with better app support i will consider switching to it. anythingbutipod anythingbutiphone anythingbutipad i keep following the sites regularly. I very very very rarely use cell phone for its actual purpose which is calling. I very very very rarely used it as a cam or player . hence i often didn't even carry it. But after iphone, i am carrying it all the time coz of its apps. It is a plus that it got a 5MP camera and ipod integrated. Also there are lot of compatible device available.
Crookbond Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I don't intend to hook around an iPhone forever. I bought the iPhone4S at the price of an iPhone4 which is lesser than Galaxy S3 and that made a good deal for me. Especially, since I had a Macbook Pro and I fit well into the eco system. I love the apps and they are turning out to be great help in the place where I am currently (alone). So, everything working well not to forget the amazing iPod and the amazing 3G experience.
vvvslaxman Posted July 14, 2012 Author Posted July 14, 2012 Though i don't listen to iphone using headphone i use it to play in my car extensively as my mazda5 2012 model is iphone compatible. I can skip songs from my steering wheel via bluetooth link. Also it has inbuilt voice recognition iphone link. I can make calls hands-free. I know we can use AUX input to play songs. But you can't skip songs from steering wheel. It is a lot more convenient.
Crookbond Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I still think the App Store is Apple's strongest suit.
gaurav92 Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Iphone is ****, Android is the way to go man :agree:

Lurker Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 iphone in India is fashion accessory Is it any different in the West? iPhone may be a great product but Apple charges a certain premium, I think, purely because the owners think it is a cool gadget to be seen with.

Well, maybe a small %,, but in India, its a wave which follows everyone Everyone buys BMW's, everyone buys Football/Polo Shorts, everyone buys iphone coz their buddy has it
Rajiv Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I would love S3 in the body of HTC One X' date=' perfect combination, but perfection does not exist in this game.[/quote'] S3 was designed by lawyers

I would concede your point about cars etc but iPhone/iPad are as much a fad in US too. Maybe even more so. Look around you and see how many girls, in particular, dont have an iPhone? Is it because it is absolutely vital? No. Is it because it is a great gadget? Partially true. Is it because it is something if you arent seen with, you dont belong to the hep crowd? Hell yeah!
