diga Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 Can somebody format the below stats? India has regressed on all the fronts... Hope BCCI takes some strict steps to arrest the slide
Old guy Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 i qouted ur comment and was able to see properly india got a ranking in t20 under him B->
jj_28 Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Fletcher was never the right coach for India Gary Kirsten left him a WC winning team and gave him the chance/time to create his own from scratch but he made no plans for the future Everything he's done till now has been dictated by the situation and not a plan which will never work if you're coaching Indian cricket team
CG Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 "We Sack coaches when we lose and praise captains when we win"
jj_28 Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 "We Sack coaches when we lose and praise captains when we win" dismiss the coach and strip the captain of his captaincy if theirs a better captain available
Crookbond Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 We can't change captains and coaches every season. Stability was one of our major reasons for being No. 1
yoda Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 We can't change captains and coaches every season. Stability was one of our major reasons for being No. 1 Dude, if 0-8 isn't enough to make changes, what is?
Number Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 dismiss the coach and strip the captain of his captaincy if theirs a better captain available +1.
The Realist Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 The idiots in the BCCI who gave him a fat contract won’t sack him – it would mean owning up to one of the worst decisions ever made. He will only be gone when his two year contract expires next year unless it is renewed… I remember the Aussie journalist, Jarrod Kimber saying that Fletcher was in every way the WORST coach India could have picked – one dimensional, useless with young players and nothing to teach the veterans as had been out of cricket for a long time. A monumental blunder and what makes it worse is that there seems to be no future strategy or plan when Fletcher does leave.
Dravid_TheWall Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Terrible coach in all ways. Must go and also a new test Captain. Rebuild with a fresh approach.

Cricket Tragic Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 He will he shown the door if we have another poor season.
Dravid_TheWall Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 He will he shown the door if we have another poor season. We won't though. We will do okay at home and he will survive. He should be gone already.
Cricket Tragic Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 We won't though. We will do okay at home and he will survive. He should be gone already. Yeah, I said if we have another poor season. It would be worse because we are expected to win at home. Can you see him being there if we lose at home to Ingerland and/or Aus? FFS, we have lost 2 series at home in the last 25 years.
Crookbond Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Dude' date=' if 0-8 isn't enough to make changes, what is?[/quote'] Let him complete his 2-year term. If the results are still bad, don't renew his contract. It's not as if Duncan has wielded some magic wand to make Indian cricket poor.
