Ultimate_Game Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 and i would like to see rahane :(( i guess we both have diff fav players who are not in team :P Based on performances so far Rahane hasn't outperformed so far, including the WI A tour and Rohit was ahead in the queue so he needs to get a shot first logically speaking.

He couldn't even get one substantial innings the whole tour. He had his chance and didn't take it so back to the normal queue. I mean look at Pujara. Pujara outperformed others and is the front-runner to claim his no. 3 spot which he had for one Test.

Mere ko kehne se kaunsa farak pad jayega. It's not as if I'm connected to messers Srinivasan& Srikkanth Haven't seen much of Shami other than a couple of youtube clips. I didn't really see much in there and even his pace didn't look more than mid 130s or thereabouts.

The clips I saw were mostly from IPL (most probably previous edition).

Sharma got a good ball and got out early. I can live with that. However, I cannot except him giving it away after getting in with a casual shot. As I said, this is once in a lifetime talent who has been made to play sub standard cricket for way too long because of our selfless seniors in the team and has developed some sloppy habbits. An Indian team for next WC which will be 2 years from now, has to have him in their plans. But this guy has to justify his potential but we need to given him a security of 10 matches atleast.
Number Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Should get all 5 matches here. I just hope he clicks in at least 2 of them. Otherwise knowing our brainless selectors they'll drop him altogether based on ODI performance and he won't even get a chance in the Test team.
