Yes, bump this thread and laugh on it when he scores great hundred or plays a match winning knock for India which he is offcourse capable of, but I think it's time to try Manoj Tiwary and other players who deserve a better run. Sharma again as I would say, is class without brain. I doubt anyone in last 10 years has gotten more chance than Rohit Sharma. If they love him so much, just keep him in reserves but play someone else please.

I don't believe I have seen a more enigmatic player. He has played some brilliant knocks under pressure, has shown the technique and shot-making ability to succeed, yet has not shown any consistency. Time to move on?

He deserves a chance at Tests. We have invested enough in him to give him a shot and see whether he makes it or not.

so jsut bcos we have invested many matches in him he deserves a chance even though he did badly on a tour and badly in australia in odis ? im not saying he is not good enough but right now i will back raina to score more runs in tests then rohit atleast let him get some runs before playing in tests also i know odis are different but he can prove us all wrong who think he is not good neough by playing one good knock come one think abt it if u have shots and ur aggressive player u should excel in odis! some one like pujara can amke excuse tht he is not suited to odis .. rohit is not even sehwag crap in odis is better the most :winky:

Also, he was in line for a test call against SA but got injured on the day of the match. You can't just disregard him now without giving him more chances. Also, other than Pujara he still is second in line. I didn't see Rahane push him down the queue based on the A tour to WI. Rohit deserves a run with the team and he has deserved it through his domestic performances.
