Old guy Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Then they expected a bit too much from a 19 year old. :giggle: in t20,on pattas, with worse fielding ever he has pace and he can move the ball for 19 year old now 20 he has tons of potential
MCcricket Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I would have loved to see Moshin Sayyid bowl as he is touted to be the quickest among our pacers, also being a left hander and being in the team at this young age?

jj_28 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I would have loved to see Moshin Sayyed bowl as he is touted to be the quickest among our pacers' date=' also being a left hander and being in the team at this young age?[/quote'] How fast is he? If Ravikant is around 135k then is Sayyed close to the 140k mark? As a 16yr old if Sayyed can reach around 140k then by the time he turns 19-20 he should be able to 145k consistently (barring injuries)

Old guy Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Right still pace around 135ks at an age of 16 is quite good ehh.... yes .. im sure we will see him next time.. this current bowling attack too is pretty good cant ask more from indian side :yay:
saneindian Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 How very depressing. Got up early in the morning for today's match, after sleeping for only 3hrs, was getting goose bumps in anticipation of watching the current India U19 play. After seeing the other teams I had this feeling the speed guns are a bit generous, because this is the only U19 world cup where I've seen so many bowlers crossing the 140kmph mark, thought Indians would at least be in the 135kmph range, specially after seeing all west. Indies bowlers cross 130kmph and Beaton crossing 145kmph. As the innings started I saw sandeep's 1st ball and thought this guy didn't change much speed wise, he went through with his over and came rush kalaria. Our friend "Rkt" once said he has a good action and seems to be a decent bowler,I had the expectation of seeing another unadkat who could touch 135kmph, but when the over ended i went into a bit of depression seeing he was merely touching 123kmph. That was a huge agony for me, feeling ashamed and embarrassed, feeling we have e Worst pace bowling attack in the whole of universe, specially comparing with the test plays nations, I remember seen videos of taskin Ahmed from Bangladesh and wouldn't be surprised if he touches 140kmph, England already has 150kmph bowler in Overton, Australia has Paris and Sandhu crossing 140kmph, new Zealand has Duffy who can cross 135kmph, Pakistan have zia ul haq who can touch 145kmph, south Africa will definitely have couple of bowlers crossing 140kmph, Sri Lanka would have bowlers who can touch 135kmph. It's only India who have none touching 130 as average speed. Kalaria is 114 - 124kmphh, sandeep is 124-131. Nothing less than embarrassing to say the least, I have no hopes with passi also , he is in the same mould. I should say I have no hopes from BCCI to get some nice quicks.india might have some quicks but they would never be selected because of the lack of wickets on Indian wickets will never bring them to limelight for selection, and that to me is the saddest part. BUMP :giggle::giggle: Are you still depressed, feeling ashamed and embarrassed ? Is still agonizing for you?
