The courage and hunger that they have shown today is remarkable. It is something you expect the No. 1 to show when they have to fight to protect their ranking. Inspite of beng down and out and against the odds in last day they have shown the bulldog spirit. Something Indians could have done much more of. To be fair we did fight in UAE, we were outplayed in the tests but cae back to win the ODI's 5-0 and we were 1-0 down to sri lanka and won the last macth South Africa have been the better side, no doubt about it but we have been magnificent today trying to chase a huge 4 innings total.

No doubt but my point was that it's easier to fight when playing at home. Just the fact that English had to fight at home shows what an ordinary #1 side they are.

I really don't believe many sides will capitulate and will put so little price on their countries stature in cricketing world as India did. Sure England is playing at home and they are home tigers, but I really doubt that they would have floundered as we did in England and Australia. They atleast would have prepared better and put their best efforts.

Still remember Zak backing to leg and throwing his wkt away time and again instead of trying to fight it out
