Isn't he always. Conservative side should be intellectual side to my understanding. This guy is what they need. He is brilliant in how he connects to one and all.
its awesome, just amazing to watch how he connected and how he presented facts. when will India ever get a leader like this .. I would even settle for Paul Ryan :two_thumbs_up:

When it comes to speeches, clinton blows everyone away.. you simply want to believe Clinton when he speaks even when he is lying.. he totally killed it.. Btw, isnt it unfair to repubs to have them go first before DNC? and the reason Bush or Chaney were not in the list because Bush can hardly move people when he is on stage..

Slick Willy is a master speaker. You get a sense that is how he would speak in a 1-1 conversation or a private gathering. Just seems so much at ease in front of the public. Teleprompter Barry could take a few pointers from Clinton. As for the content - a lot of fluff (and BS) as always.

Fluff - I guess that's your term for facts and numbers. LOL!

One of the best lines in Clinton's speech. "In Tampa, the Republican argument against the President's re-election was pretty simple: we left him a total mess, he hasn't cleaned it up fast enough, so fire him and put us back in."

You don't puit facts, logic and numbers in front of Repubs, it's like Kryptonyte for them. All you have to do to get Repuns attention is to say God God God Israel God God Abortion Israel Gun Gun Regan Israel.

So anyone presenting actual facts is termed a hater.

http://factcheck.org/2012/09/our-clinton-nightmare/ Republicans will find plenty of Clinton's scorching opinions objectionable. But with few exceptions, we found his stats checked out.

Right, because that means Clinton is Harishchandra ki aulad. :two_thumbs_up: Entire speech falls flat on its face when he calls for Obama`s re-elction because 4 years isn`t enough time to fix the problems republicans created. Really, wtf was he doing when he allowed the Glass Steagall to be repealed and in conjunction passed CRA - 2 most important factors that lead to the financial meltdownŽÃ‰

Dude, you claimed Clinton's speech was Fluf and factcheck.org (you quoted) claims it was factually correct. Financial meltdown started BEFORE he got to office. Lets look at the timeline: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/18/economic-crisis-timeline-_n_397360.html 2008 March Gold prices surge to more than $1,000 an ounce for the first time ever. March On March 16, Bear Stearns is sold to JPMorgan Chase for a fire-sale price of $2 a share, or $236 million, as the collapse of the subprime mortgage market brings down the fifth-largest Wall Street investment bank, foreshadowing the broader financial crisis. July California lender IndyMac Bank fails at an estimated cost of $10.7 billion to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. A total of 25 banks will fail by the end of the year. Failures will skyrockets to more than 133 in 2009. July Oil reaches $150 a barrel; gasoline spikes to $4.11 a gallon. Gas prices become a topic of debate on the presidential campaign trail. September On Sept. 15, the subprime mortgage crisis forces Lehman Brothers to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, setting forth a worldwide financial meltdown. September On Sept. 29, the House rejects the government's $700 billion financial bailout plan, triggering the largest-ever drop in the Dow Jones industrial average, 777.68 points. October As part of the federal bailout of the financial system, FDIC insurance on bank deposits is increased from $100,000 per account to $250,000, until 2014. November Riding a record-setting wave of $748 million in campaign donations, with more than 45 percent of the donations of $500 or less, and made by individuals, Barack Obama is elected the first African-American U.S. president. December Bernard Madoff is arrested by the FBI after confessing to his sons that his investment firm is a Ponzi scheme. Investigators later tally the real losses for his investors at more than $21 billion. December Revolving debt held by U.S. consumers, mostly on credit cards, tops out at $988.2 billion. The number of outstanding credit cards, once 425 million, will drop to 325 million by late 2009. 2009 January President Barack Obama is sworn in. In his inaugural address he notes: "The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act-not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth." February The $757 billion economic stimulus package is signed into law. March On March 9, major stock market indicators hit 12-year lows, with the Dow Jones industrial average sinking to 6,547. Stocks then begin a months-long bull market that restores much, but far from all, of the wealth lost in the collapse. May Seeking to protect consumers, landmark credit card reform legislation is signed into law. According to consultant TowerGroup, banks use the nine months before the law takes effect to slash credit limits and raise interest rates on 65 percent of all outstanding cards. July In an effort to jump-start the economy and get gas-guzzlers off the road, the government initially approves $1 billion to provide rebates for new car purchases. Greater than anticipated demand leads Congress to approve an additional $2 billion. November After wavering back and forth for two weeks, on Nov. 5, the Dow settles into a two-month run above the 10,000 mark. The following morning, the Commerce Department says the unemployment rate hit 10.2 percent in October.

So you want to blame the guy who was in office 8 years before the meltdown started but not the guy who actually was waging a bogus war blowing surplus while the local economy was imploding? :hysterical:

First, look into the amount spent on the Iraq war and compare it to how much your housing market and financial markets are worth. Since Slick Willy, got the ball rolling with repeal of Glass Steagal and introduction of Community reinvestment act, he is more to blame than anyone else for financial meltdown. US economy is so massive that a war would have minimal negative impact on the economy (it may even contribute positively since War is essentially an industry for you Americans).

i really dont know how you both can stand up for any of these two parties.. both parties are at fault for current situation that we are in.. it's just the matter of choosing the lesser evil.
