Number Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Pakis are also very upset that Amla is not in the team. After all' date=' he is their third adopted son after Lara and Ponting.[/quote'] PCB might even boycott world T20. :giggle:

Crookbond Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 No Amla ? But, is he fasting? :dontknow:
carnish Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Amla should have been there .. Gambhir does deserve to be there and is a good selection. Afridi is a joke selection. Dont remember Dhoni doing much in the last year for ODIs and I have no idea what Malinga has done in the last year apart from getting hammered again and again by Kohli in ODIs.
vvvslaxman Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 No Amla ? In the time frame they chose Amla had played a mere 8 ODIs scoring 400 odd runs http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=2;spanmax1=06+Aug+2012;spanmin1=04+Aug+2011;spanval1=span;template=results;type=batting

Dhoni didn't even get out once in the period of 6 months, from Aug'11 to March'12 in ODIs. :giggle:

Cannot understand how Malinga got in there! :omg:
carnish Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Dhoni didn't even get out once in the period of 6 months' date=' from Aug'11 to March'12 in ODIs. :giggle:[/quote'] That rockets his average OK ... but what about the number of runs .. apart from 2 games in AUSTRALIA, he didnt perform much I guess ... not in Asia Cup not against SRL. I guess maybe he might have done something against England last year. Its bad to see Amla miss out just because they dont play enough ODIs and yet our Kaptaan getting in on the basis of N.O innings. I dont mind Dhoni being there but then Amla should also be included. Malinga though is pure crap.
Tiger-Don Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Biggest surprise in no Amla there! and dont even bring up shakib,,,that looser dont deserve ****!
vvvslaxman Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Biggest surprise in no Amla there! and dont even bring up shakib' date=',,that looser dont deserve ****![/quote'] No surprise if you ignore his most recent exploits against England. That period is not included while evaluating. Amla 8 matches averaging 52. Not enough. In that case Taylor from zimbok played more matches and average 58 during that period.
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 is Paki cricket board protesting why Afridi was not captain?
Sidhoni Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Dhoni :hatsoff: But Gambhir and Afridi in the team?
Square Drive Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Sanga is the best WK, and Clarke is the best captain in that XI.
Executioner Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Biggest surprise in no Amla there! and dont even bring up shakib' date=',,that looser dont deserve ****![/quote'] what kind of loser are you? shakib avgs 49 with bat and 25.5 with the ball in the timespan If u can achieve half of what he achieved ill change my name

Correct me if I'm wrong.
vvvslaxman Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Either way SA didn't give a damn about this. If it were to be PCB they would absent themselves from award ceremony
